A resting electrocardiogram (ECG), also known as, is a simple test that detects the signals of your heart. During this test, you will lie down in a quiet environment while electrodes are attached to your chest, arms, and legs. These wires record the electrical signals to a machine that creates a visual representation of your heart rhythm. A resting
